Georgetown Law One of Top Three Law Schools for Black Students

The Law Center ranks third in the new Black Student’s Guide To Law Schools’ list of “Top National Law Schools for Black Students.” To be included in the top-25 list, a school must be among the 50 “go-to” law schools of the National Law Journal 250 and have had at least one alumnus serve on or clerk for the Supreme Court; also, the law school’s black population must equal or surpass the ABA’s black lawyer population of 4.8 percent. The rankings take cost, selectivity and employment rate into account. The list, which is published by the media company On Being a Black Lawyer, ranks the Law Center third after Harvard and Howard.
