Global Health Governance
The Issue in Brief
Inspired by the call to action in Dean Gostin’s proposal for a Framework Convention for Global Health, the O’Neill Institute is exploring innovative models to improve global health governance.
O’Neill faculty and staff have met with senior officials from the World Bank and World Health Organization (WHO), including WHO Director-General Margaret Chan. Based upon this feedback, as well as advice from others in domestic and international organizations, the O’Neill Institute is crafting a plan to organize a stakeholder meeting to examine key issues in global health governance.
The O’Neill Institute team will include faculty from the Law Center, NHS, and other components of the University.
